Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins is one of the most prolific music creatives of our time. For over 30 years, the Grammy and Latin Grammy Award–winning producer, songwriter, and mentor has shaped every genre from Hip-Hop and R&B to Pop, Gospel, and Country. His signature sound has powered hits for icons like Michael Jackson, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, Destiny’s Child, Lady Gaga, and Sam Smith, amassing more than 40 billion streams worldwide.

Beyond producing chart-topping records, Jerkins is a visionary builder, launching songwriting camps, mentoring the next generation, and creating ventures in publishing, tech, real estate, and content. In 2025, he became the youngest songwriter ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Most recently, he founded Alienz Alive, a Christian Hip-Hop label that has already surpassed 200 million streams in its first year. From legendary hits to future classics, Darkchild’s influence continues to inspire culture, community, and faith through the power of music.
